local organizations invited to apply for free books
Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation and Picture Window Books
are partnering for a second offering of free books to the children of
southern Minnesota. This collaboration, called BookStart, selects projects
based on the number of children receiving books, project promotion of
childhood learning and literacy and benefit to those in need.

Who should apply?
Schools; Nonprofit Organizations; Early Childhood Programs; Daycare
Facilities; Churches - any organization who wants to increase literacy
within their community and ensure that every child has a book of his or
her own.
